This vac is terrible. This vac has a lot of problems if you are picking up any kind of salt in the winter on carpets. All it does is chew it up and spit it back out in smaller pieces. Any kind of little rock and sand gets stuck in the brush brearing and freeze the brush burning out the belt. This a good vac for cig ashes and thats about it. The vac and serious designed flaws. We use two of these vacs where I work and we have to use a oreck to pick up the salt and sand because this vac won't do it or does a rotten job and spits the sand and salt right back at you. Do not buy this vac!!!
